Gorky Railway will hold a charity run "Reaching the Goal!" on August 2nd.

      Registration for participants in the charity run "Reaching the Goal!" (0+), which will take place on August 2, 2025, in Nizhny Novgorod in honor of Railway Workers' Day, has opened, according to the press service of GZhD — a branch of JSC "Russian Railways." The festive program will be held as a city-wide event in Gorky Park of Culture and Leisure, located at 1 Maya Street, Nizhny Novgorod, October Revolution Street, 31, Chkalovskaya metro station. Railway workers are preparing an entertainment program for residents and guests of the city. The main sporting event will be the charity run "Reaching the Goal!". Participants can choose from several distances: for children 3−4 years old accompanied by parents (80 m); for children 5 to 13 years old (500 m); for children 14 years and older, as well as adults (1520 m); silver start for women over 55 and men over 60 (1520 m); family relay for teams of 3 people—two parents and a child (1520 m); for running enthusiasts from 18 years old (3000 m). The start of the run is at 10:00 AM. Entrance to the event is free. All participants will receive a commemorative medal, and the top three finishers will be awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts. Funds raised will be transferred to the non-profit organization "Nizhny Novgorod Oncology Scientific Center Fund" ("NНЦ Fund"), which helps children undergoing treatment in the oncology and hematology departments of Nizhny Novgorod Regional Pediatric Hospital and their families. Participants are required to have a medical certificate. Each registered participant will receive a starter kit with an individual number and a T-shirt.
