On the federal highway in the Nizhny Novgorod region, a collision occurred between a Geely and an Audi: two dead and a child injured.

      An accident occurred near a village in the Nizhny Novgorod region. As a result, several people died, and others were injured and taken to hospital, according to the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod police.

      On July 15, a serious crash happened at the 565th kilometer of the M-7 "Volga" highway near the village of Nikolskoye. Reports indicate that a 56-year-old driver of a Geely Atlas, heading towards Kazan, lost control, veered into the oncoming lane, and collided with an Audi.

      The collision resulted in the immediate death of the Geely driver and his 46-year-old passenger at the scene. Three other people were injured: a 45-year-old female passenger in the Geely, a 32-year-old Audi driver, and his seven-year-old passenger. All injured persons were hospitalized for necessary medical assistance.

      Emergency and rescue services are working at the scene. Authorities continue to establish the circumstances and causes of the tragedy.
