The Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor's Office are clarifying the circumstances of the teenager's assault near a shopping center in Nizhny Novgorod, as reported by the agencies' press services. According to media reports, the incident occurred on July 13. While on the platform in front of the shopping center, one teenage boy attacked another. The incident was recorded on video, showing blows to the victim's stomach and face. Later, footage appeared online with an apology from the victim. The initiating teenager later posted a video explaining his motives, revealing that he was allegedly approached by two former girlfriends of the victim, who reported threats from him and the dissemination of intimate photos of one of them. The offenders claimed the girls were 13 years old. The videos posted online drew the attention of the prosecutor's office, which is conducting a check on the legality of guardianship and juvenile misconduct laws. A decision on further actions will be made based on the results. Additionally, the Investigative Committee has begun a preliminary investigation, clarifying the circumstances and providing a legal assessment.
