Culture and LeisureMusicians from the Nizhny Novgorod State Philharmonic named after Rostropovich performed for military personnel in the Volodarsky municipal district of the Nizhny Novgorod region as part of the 67th season of summer charitable concerts by the Philharmonic.
The series of concerts is held with the support of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of "United Russia" and party supporters. The weekly project involves local and invited artists, including the Lindovskaya Children's School of Arts and creative groups from Dzerzhinsk. The concerts are very popular: each performance attracts over 350 spectators.
"Military service is a strict schedule, where every day is planned down to the minute. When artists come to us, it's always a celebration. Their performances lift morale and boost fighting spirit," shared one of the servicemen.
It is worth noting that residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region actively assist military personnel, internally displaced persons, residents of liberated territories, and border regions. The Nizhny Novgorod regional branch and the volunteer center of the "United Russia" party have organized operational headquarters from the very first days of the SVO, involving deputies and various organizations. Humanitarian shipments for military personnel and civilians are continuously sent. Deputies, activists, and partners regularly deliver special equipment, medicines, food, and other necessary items.
"At the Supreme Council meeting of 'United Russia' in June, we summarized the work on implementing one of the priority areas of the People's Program related to supporting participants of the SVO. On the party's initiative, 130 specialized federal laws have been adopted, more than 141,000 tons of aid worth over 14.5 billion rubles have been sent to Donbass. Psychological and socio-cultural rehabilitation of SVO veterans is conducted, assistance is provided in employment, opening businesses, and conditions are created for sports activities. Today, the party is focusing on establishing clear timelines for payments to servicemen and empowering front-line combat commanders to certify documents for servicemen, which will be equated to notarization. Additionally, measures to update support for SVO participants, veterans, and their families are underway. A lot is being done, and charitable concerts for military personnel are another example of how multifaceted this work is and the significant contribution of the entire party's activity to our Victory and to creating decent living conditions for defenders of the Fatherland and their families in peacetime," emphasized Dmitry Filipenko, head of the regional executive committee of the "United Russia" party.
