      According to the Dzerzhinsk administration, the incident occurred due to increased pressure in the network: a 300-millimeter cold water pipeline burst as a result.

      Currently, water supply in this section has been shut off. The city authorities have decided to replace 150 meters of the pipeline between Stroiteli and Galkina streets due to significant wear and tear.

      It is noted that the incident did not affect water supply to nearby residential buildings.

      Recall that in Nizhny Novgorod on July 15, a car fell into a water-filled pit due to ground collapse; this utility emergency was promptly resolved by employees of the Nizhny Novgorod Water Utility.
