The police are searching in Gorodets for the owners of the dog that bit a child.

      Incidents In Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod Region, police are establishing the identity of the dog owner who attacked a child. This was reported by the city head, Alexander Mudrov, on his official Telegram channel.

      According to Mudrov, the injured child has already received necessary medical care. Police have begun searching for the dog's owners; however, footage from surveillance cameras has not yielded significant results so far.

      "One of the addresses where, according to preliminary information, the dog resembling the description may be located has already been checked," clarified the city head.

      Mudrov also appealed to residents to assist the investigation and, if they have any information about the incident, to contact law enforcement agencies.

      "Also, I ask everyone to exercise prudence, avoid spreading rumors, and refrain from calls for vigilante justice on social media," he added.

      It is reminded that a case has been opened in Gorodets after a pet dog bit a girl.
