The production of the Nizhny Novgorod special vehicle manufacturer increased by 19% thanks to the federal project "Labor Productivity".

      Experts from the regional competence center (RCC), in collaboration with employees of LLC «InvestAuto» from Nizhny Novgorod, summarized the results of implementing the federal project "Labor Productivity" at the enterprise. The company specializes in re-equipping machines of various brands into special-purpose vehicles and produces components for special equipment. The process of re-equipping hollow metal vans was selected as a pilot flow. Their sales share accounts for 47% of the company's total revenue. "The RCC specialists worked on the LLC 'InvestAuto' site for six months. They implemented an automated system for generating statements, organized a system for storing components, and reduced unnecessary employee movements. These measures collectively increased productivity by 19%," said Maksim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The RCC experts also trained 20 employees in lean technologies and prepared two internal trainers who can subsequently train their colleagues independently. Currently, 29 auto component manufacturers in the Nizhny Novgorod Region are implementing tools from the federal "Labor Productivity" project. According to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the "Effective and Competitive Economy" national project, initiated by President Vladimir Putin, will become the main tool for shaping a new growth model. It includes federal initiatives aimed at developing small and medium enterprises, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, low-carbon development, and developing the state statistics and forecasting system.
