With the support of "United Russia," the National Labor Person Award has launched.

      Applications are accepted from July 15 to August 15. The award is organized by the partner project "Choose Your" and the Association of Developers, Manufacturers, and Suppliers of Personal Protective Equipment. "A technological breakthrough is impossible without systemic work with personnel. Increasing youth engagement in skilled trades, restoring respect for hands-on work at the machine — one of the challenges of our time and a priority for United Russia. The goal of the "Worker of Labor" award is to establish a new standard of value for skilled professions. We will recognize the best, support mentors and labor dynasties. It is important that the work of workers, engineers, and farmers becomes synonymous with personal success and a guarantee of the country's technological sovereignty," commented Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the State Committee. Applications can be submitted in six categories. The "Technological Leader" category is for candidates who have implemented innovative technologies, increased production efficiency, and developed new products and solutions. The "Best Mentor" category is for candidates who have made a significant contribution to the professional development of young specialists, shared experience and knowledge, and contributed to workforce development. The "Young Specialist" category is for candidates aged 18 to 35 who have achieved significant professional success, demonstrated initiative, and a desire for career growth. The "Family Labor Dynasties" category is for candidates from families where at least three generations have taken up the same profession, or where the total labor experience of all family members in one profession or at one enterprise totals at least 50 years. The "Veterans Council" category is for candidates who are leaders or representatives of organizations of honored workers of enterprises, who have made a significant contribution to preserving labor traditions and accumulated experience. The "Labor Patriotic Education" category is for candidates who are leaders or representatives of organizations with long-standing successful experience in labor patriotic education of youth, raising citizens for whom love for the homeland manifests not only in words but in concrete actions: a willingness and need to work for the public good, to care for national treasures, and to contribute personally to the development of the country.

      "The 'Worker of Labor' award is especially relevant for the Nizhny Novgorod region. Our area is one of Russia’s key industrial centers, representing most of the country's major sectors. Engaging youth and fostering interest in skilled trades among the new generation depends on this task, which determines our country's future. I invite young workers to participate in the regional stage," said Ivan Razuvaev, regional coordinator of the partner project "Choose Your." The winners of the regional stage of the "Worker of Labor" award will be announced on August 27 at the XII International Forum of Technological Development, TECHNOPROM-2025.
