      Incidents A projectile from the Great Patriotic War was discovered at a construction site in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the press service of the Rosguard administration in the region.

      According to them, during construction work in the Kenevo village of the Balakhna district, workers stumbled upon a suspicious metallic object. Specialists from the EOD "Burevestnik" unit of the Rosguard in the Nizhny Novgorod region arrived at the scene to inspect it.

      Explosive experts examined the find and determined that it was a 100-millimeter armor-piercing artillery shell from the Great Patriotic War era. The body of the projectile showed signs of corrosion, but no explosives were found inside. Therefore, the shell does not pose a threat to the surrounding area.

      The Rosguard reminds that upon discovering suspicious objects, it is necessary to immediately report the find to law enforcement authorities. Under no circumstances should attempt be made to examine, touch, or move such objects on your own.
