In the first half of 2025, more than 23,000 residents of Nizhny Novgorod used the "Health Trains." Mobile teams made 125 visits and visited over 400 settlements. Their work is carried out within the framework of the national project "Prolonged and Active Life." This was reported by the press service of the government of Nizhny Novgorod Region.

During this period, specialists conducted nearly 40,000 consultations. The trains are staffed by therapists, cardiologists, neurologists, surgeons, urologists, gynecologists, oncologists, ophthalmologists, and other narrowly specialized doctors. Additionally, over 80,000 diagnostic tests were performed in the mobile units: electrocardiography, fluorography, mammography, ultrasound studies, laboratory tests, and others.

Work is carried out by five teams of mobile diagnostic complexes. Their composition is formed based at Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital named after N.A. Semashko. During periods of extreme heat, residents of Nizhny Novgorod more often require medical assistance. This is especially true for patients with high blood pressure and cardiovascular diseases. Medical professionals recommend drinking more water, avoiding going outdoors during the hottest hours. When outside in the sun, specialists advise wearing hats and loose clothing made of natural fabrics.
