Fourteen pairs of Nizhny Novgorod residents got married at the celebration in Switzerland Park.

      Last Saturday, July 12, 14 couples officially registered their relationship at Switzerland Park in Nizhny Novgorod. The wedding ceremony took place as part of a celebration dedicated to Family, Love, and Fidelity Day.

      According to the Main Registry Office of Nizhny Novgorod Region, the event has been held in the park for the second consecutive year and has become a good tradition.

      Olga Krasnova, head of the regional Registry Office, noted that the open spaces of the park are especially suitable for summer weddings. She added that more modern venues are appearing in the city where newlyweds can hold ceremonies to their liking. This approach is actively supported and developed.

      After the official part, the newlyweds exchanged rings, kissed, and walked in a joyful procession to the main stage, where they were greeted by guests.

      Deputy Dmitry Bykov, a member of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma, addressed the newlyweds with congratulations. He emphasized that family is the foundation of life, the place where core human values are formed. The deputy wished the couples happiness, love, and mutual understanding.

      The ceremony concluded with the first wedding dance performed by the newlyweds on the central square of the park amid applause from the audience.

      The mass wedding became the final part of the festive week organized by the Registry Office authorities of Nizhny Novgorod Region. During this time, about 60 events took place in the region, where young families, couples celebrating anniversaries, large families, and those who recently had children were congratulated.

      It was previously reported that 11 couples married at the upper station of the Kremlin funicular on Family, Love, and Fidelity Day.
