      The head of Shakhunya, Oleg Dakhno, has resigned from his post. The document published on the local administration's website states that he submitted his resignation voluntarily.

      The council of deputies' decision was posted on the website on July 10. However, Dakhno's powers were terminated as of June 30. The municipal website information has not yet been updated.

      It is worth noting that earlier, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, took control of the investigation into violations of orphan rights in Shakhunya. The houses built for this category of citizens were uninsulated, resulting in low temperatures during winter. Additionally, other violations by the developer were identified.
