      Two people were injured in a collision with a moose in the Krasnobakovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, according to the regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.

      Preliminary information indicates that a 56-year-old Lada driver was traveling at high speed on the highway during nighttime. As a result, he did not notice a moose standing on the road and collided with it.

      The driver and the female passenger were hospitalized. The car itself sustained significant mechanical damages.
