Traffic on the Povetluzhye section of the "Povetluzhye" highway near Semenov will be restricted in July.

      SocietyOn the federal highway R-177 "Povetluzhye," traffic restrictions will begin on July 25, 2025, on the section from 103rd to 119th km in the Semenov urban district. According to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Uprdor Moscow — Nizhny Novgorod," measures are related to preparatory works for major road surface repairs scheduled for 2026–2027.

      It is reported that restrictions will be in place until October 30, 2025. During the work period, local lane narrowing and speed limits up to 50 km/h outside populated areas and up to 40 km/h within them may be imposed. Drivers are asked to pay attention, follow temporary traffic schemes, and adhere to road signs.

      Restrictions continue to apply on the bridge over the Lunda River in the village of Bokovaya (115th km of the R-177). There, major repairs have been underway from April to December 2025. Traffic is organized via a temporary road with a speed limit of up to 40 km/h.

      On another section of the R-177 — the bridge over the Zimara River (123rd km, Voskresensky district) — due to reduced load-bearing capacity of the structures, traffic is only permitted in one lane. The maximum speed is 20 km/h. There is a weight limit of no more than 20 tons total and 8 tons per axle. Freight vehicles are detoured via the route Bokovaya – Krasnye Baki – Yadrovo – Vozdvizheskoye – Voskresensk.

      Restrictions also remain on the R-158 route Nizhny Novgorod — Saratov. In the Dальнеконстантиновский district, on the section from 41st to 46th km, where major repairs with road widening were previously carried out, work is temporarily suspended. Traffic is permitted on two lanes, with speeds limited to 40 or 50 km/h depending on the section.

      In the Arzamas urban district, on the section of R-158 from 77th to 104th km, major repairs are ongoing. Restrictions are in effect along the entire stretch: lane narrowing and possible reversible traffic mode. The maximum speed is 50 km/h; in populated areas, it is limited to 40 km/h.

      Drivers are asked to consider these changes when planning routes and to strictly follow temporary traffic schemes.
