      Incidents In Pavlovo district, a criminal case has been initiated against a 49-year-old man who caused a road traffic accident while intoxicated. According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region, the incident occurred in the Tumbotino settlement on Oktyabrskaya Street.

      Preliminary information indicates that the driver of a Nissan car, who does not have a driver's license, exceeded the speed limit, lost control, and crashed into a fence. At the time, the man was intoxicated. Upon arrival of police officers, he resisted arrest.

      Administrative protocols have been drawn up against the offender for driving without a license and for driving under the influence. Additionally, due to aggravating circumstances, a criminal case has been opened. The investigation is ongoing.

      It was previously reported that a passenger died due to a drunk "Niva" driver in Bolshoe Boldino, Nizhny Novgorod region. In Arzamas, a woman pedestrian was fatally injured in a traffic accident involving two cars.
