Almost 4 billion rubles of debt on budget loans will be forgiven for the Samara region.

      Almost 4 billion rubles of budget credit debt will be written off for the Samara Region. According to the Russian government press service, a decision has been made to write off 42.714 billion rubles of debt across 25 regions. It is reported that 3.919 billion rubles of debt will be written off for the Samara Region. Funds allocated to the region were used for infrastructure projects, replenishing the balance of funds on the unified budget account, and for budget credits. Specifically, the write-off will be carried out at the expense of temporarily available funds in the federal budget's unified account for up to 15 years, with a user fee at a rate of 3% per annum, with the right to early repayment. It is also recalled that this year, Mari El Republic was included among the regions with debt written off. The republic will have 1.6 billion rubles of budget credit debt forgiven. Additionally, Perm Krai is included — the write-off amount exceeds 850 million rubles.
