      Society On July 12, Lyskovo celebrated its 615th anniversary. The ceremonial event was opened by the Speaker of the Regional Parliament, Yevgeny Lyulin, who congratulated residents on this occasion. Representatives of various professions who contributed to the development of the city were awarded in honor of the celebration.

      As reported by the press service of the regional Legislative Assembly, the Lyskovo municipal district ranks seventh in the socio-economic rating of the Nizhny Novgorod region for the first quarter of 2025, having risen 18 positions since the end of the previous year.

      Yevgeny Lyulin noted Lyskovo's great potential in industry, agriculture, and tourism, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts to unlock it.

      "The city honors its past and confidently moves forward. Lyskovo has been and remains a land of workers. Industry and agriculture are developing here. The city's reputation is built by its people — kind, responsive, and hardworking," the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly emphasized.

      The cultural program of the celebration included excursions, master classes, sports competitions, a healthy lifestyle festival, and a fair showcasing traditional crafts. Numerous creative groups performed on the main stage.

      Yevgeny Lyulin expressed his love for Lyskovo as a place of strength and the origins of Russia, highlighting the importance of preserving history and developing the city.
