The GAI (Road Traffic Inspection) of Nizhny Novgorod reported a fatal accident that occurred this morning in Bolshoy Boldin.
According to information, the accident happened around 8:55 on Krasnaya Street. A 51-year-old Chevrolet Niva driver lost control while overtaking in the oncoming lane, nearly hit a passing vehicle, and went off the road. The car overturned into a ditch.
As a result of the accident, a 54-year-old passenger in the SUV died. The driver himself, who was found to be intoxicated, was hospitalized with multiple injuries at the Pochnik Central District Hospital.
