The emergency request feature has appeared in the "Gosuslugi.Dom" application.

      A new feature for residents of apartment buildings has appeared in the "Gosuslugi.Dom" mobile app: now, in case of an emergency, one can call the emergency dispatch service (EDS) using the phone number entered by the management organization into the GIS Housing and Utilities system. This is reported by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia. "Residents now have quick access to the emergency service phone number," said Konstantin Mikhaylik, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation. Users need to go to the main screen of the app and press the "Emergency" button. The app will advise when it is necessary to contact the EDS, for example, if a pipe has burst in the building or if there is a gas smell. The current number with a call button will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. If this number is not available, the user can submit a request to the DUK. "Before launching the emergency request, the GIS Housing and Utilities operator team called all listed numbers to ensure they were correct and that the dispatch service answers calls. We will continue working with management organizations," said Alexander Abramkov, General Director of JSC "Operator of the Information System." In the updates, the EDS numbers from resource supplying organizations will also become available. Additionally, management organizations will be able to specify different phone numbers for various situations within the mobile app. Users can authenticate in the app through a verified account on the "Gosuslugi" portal.
