      Star of the series "Cicadas" (18+) Grigory Vernik attended the new Russian cinema festival "Gorky fest" (18+) in Nizhny Novgorod. As discovered by NIA "Nizhny Novgorod," the reason was his love for the festival, the city, and his new girlfriend — 19-year-old actress Polina Gukhman.

      On July 12, the day before, the premiere of the comedic melodrama "Three Sisters" (16+) took place at the Maxim Gorky Nizhny Novgorod Drama Theater, with filming having occurred in Nizhny Novgorod last summer.

      Before the screening, the actress playing the younger sister, Polina Gukhman, appeared on the red carpet alongside 25-year-old actor Grigory Vernik. The lovers held hands and kept their eyes on each other.

      It is worth recalling that a few years ago, Grigory attended the festival as a participant — at that time, he was representing Kirill Kemnitsa’s film "Centaur" (18+).

      "This year, I came to support Polina and, of course, to see interesting films. I generally love this festival and this city. I really like it here! You have fantastic embankments, the kremlin, and the main street," the actor told NIA "Nizhny Novgorod."

      It should be noted that Polina Gukhman was the host of the opening ceremony of the "Gorky fest - 2025" film festival. Her co-host was Nikita Kologriviy ("Slovo Pakana", 18+). It was announced from the stage that originally, the host was to be Igor Vernik, Grigory’s father. We asked the young actor whether this was true.

      "That will remain a secret," smiled the young actor.
