Tourists increased their spending on trips to the Far East.

This is according to data from VTB Bank and the travel planning service OneTwoTrip, presented at the Eastern Economic Forum. During this period, VTB clients paid for accommodation in hotels in the cities of the Far East for a total of 563 million rubles. The number of such payments increased by 3%, reaching 117,000 transactions, with an average check of 11,200 rubles. The average cost of a one-way airline ticket to the regions of the Far East rose by 3%, reaching 19,100 rubles. According to hotel booking data from OneTwoTrip, the most popular destination remains Primorsky Krai, accounting for 43.7% of all orders, with the share increasing by 1.1 percentage points over the year. Khabarovsk Krai is in second place (17.7%), and Sakhalin Oblast is third (9.4%). The share of Amur Oblast saw the most significant increase, reaching 7.6%, allowing the region to surpass Buryatia (7.4%). Kamchatka (up to 5.5%) and Zabaykalsky Krai (up to 4%) also gained popularity, while the share of Yakutia decreased to 2.6%. In terms of trip duration, Kamchatka leads: tourists there, on average, book hotels for 4.4 days, nearly two days longer than the previous year. Primorsky Krai and Sakhalin share second place at 2.4 days, with the figure slightly increasing in Primorye and decreasing in Sakhalin. In Yakutia, the average trip duration remained at last year's level of 2 days. The average cost of a night in hotels in the Far East remained unchanged at 7,300 rubles; however, prices decreased in several regions. In Sakhalin, accommodation became cheaper by 13.6%, down to 7,700 rubles per night, and in Primorsky Krai, by 4.1%, down to 7,200 rubles. The most affordable accommodation was recorded in the Jewish Autonomous Oblast (5,700 rubles per night), Zabaykalsky Krai (5,800 rubles), and Buryatia (6,800 rubles).
