The breakdown of toilets disrupted the flight from Nizhny Novgorod to Antalya.

      September 3, 2026 17:43 Society An Aeroflot plane flying from Nizhny Novgorod to Antalya had to land in Mineralnye Vody due to the failure of all toilets on board. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Aviatorshchina." The Airbus A320, which was operating the flight the day before, changed its route after the crew discovered a malfunction in the toilets. Already on approach to Vladikavkaz, the pilots informed the dispatchers that the toilets had stopped working on board and decided to divert the plane to Mineralnye Vody. The crew did not issue any urgency or distress signals. The landing was successful. There were 155 passengers and six crew members on board. After landing, the plane was grounded, and specialists are currently assessing its technical condition. After eight hours, Aeroflot sent a backup plane from Moscow for the passengers. They arrived in Antalya today by seven in the morning. It was previously reported that a Superjet arriving from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow had an engine failure.
