The additional period for the OGE exams has started in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      September 4, 2026 10:56 Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the first exam of the additional period of the OGE took place on September 3. This was reported by the regional Minister of Education, Mikhail Puchkov. The additional period is intended for students who were unable to take the exams during the main period for valid reasons, as well as for those who received unsatisfactory results. In the last academic year, the number of those who did not pass the OGE on the first attempt was about 5%. The first exam on the schedule was mathematics. For its conduct, 34 examination points were operational in the region. A total of 1,240 people participated in the exam. Recall that in September, retakes of the Unified State Exam (EGE) are scheduled for those who did not score the required number of points in mandatory subjects.
