Ramps and other elements of a barrier-free environment are used in social infrastructure facilities. Such solutions help parents with small children and people with limited mobility move around the city more freely. Family-friendly conditions are created in public spaces, shopping centers, cafés, and other establishments. Mother and child rooms, play areas, high chairs, and menus allow parents to spend time together without giving up their usual urban routes," said Maria Dugina, Deputy Director of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Institute of Demographic Development."

      She emphasized that the fewer everyday obstacles there are, the more opportunities family members have to "use the city together."
