      Since the beginning of 2026, the mobile diagnostic complexes "Health Trains" have already made 160 visits to municipalities in the Nizhny Novgorod region. In September, the schedule for specialists includes visits to 24 districts at once. Special attention this month is given to Dzerzhinsk: here the "Health Train named after N. A. Semashko" will accept patients for two weeks. As reminded by the regional health ministry, mobile medical teams are formed based on the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital named after N. A. Semashko. The medical institution shared statistics on its work over the past months. By the beginning of September, specialists had already accepted more than 29,200 patients. Doctors conducted nearly 49,500 consultations and performed over 92,300 laboratory and instrumental examinations. This allowed for the first time to identify more than 6,000 cases of diseases among Nizhny Novgorod residents. Among the established diagnoses are a significant number of socially significant pathologies: nearly 380 cases of cardiovascular diseases, 285 cases of diabetes, and 65 cases of malignant neoplasms. Each patient with identified deviations was helped by medical professionals to navigate further steps: nearly 19,900 referrals for additional examinations were issued, and more than a thousand people were referred for hospitalization. Nizhny Novgorod residents most often sought consultations from cardiologists, neurologists, gynecologists, endocrinologists, and therapists. In villages and settlements far from district centers, specialists such as ophthalmologists, surgeons, and urologists are also in demand. The modern equipment of mobile modules allows not only to conduct initial examinations but also to immediately perform a significant part of the necessary studies. The complexes include equipment for laboratory research, ECG and ultrasound machines, mammographs, fluorographs, and other necessary technology. The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital named after N. A. Semashko emphasizes that the work of the "Health Trains" is aimed at the early detection of diseases and the prevention of complications, which fully aligns with the objectives of the national project "Long and Active Life," initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. It should be noted that the "Health Train" project has been implemented since 2018 by the decision of the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin.
