The heating networks "T Plus" in Dzerzhinsk have passed inspection and are ready for winter.

      September 3, 2026 17:00 The energy company of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of "T Plus" has completed testing the heating supply system of Dzerzhinsk as part of the preparation for the heating season of 2026/2027. According to the schedule approved by the city administration, specialists have begun filling the intra-block heating pipelines.

      In preparation for winter, the heat energy specialists tested all 3,310 sections of the city's heating network pipelines under increased pressure. During this process, they identified and eliminated 231 damages and re-pressurized the repaired sections.

      "We conduct hydraulic tests of the main and distribution heating networks under a pressure of 20 kg/cm² in recent years — this is 25% higher than required by the standard. As a result, more defects are eliminated during the repair campaign, and damage during the winter decreases. Thus, during the heating period of 2025/2026, it decreased by 5% compared to the previous one. This confirms the effectiveness of summer repair work," noted Irina Gneusheva, director of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of "T Plus."

      One of the most important projects for winter preparation was the reconstruction of pavilion No. 5 of the main heating networks on Popova Street. New shut-off and regulating valves were installed at the facility, which will be managed automatically by the dispatching service of the heating networks. Also, last summer, heat energy specialists replaced the heat exchange and pumping equipment of four central heating points.

      In total, in 2026, "T Plus" will replace 13.8 km of heating and hot water pipelines in Dzerzhinsk. By the beginning of September, the energy specialists had already updated 10.1 km of heating networks. The work is proceeding according to plan: by the start of the heating season, all reconstruction facilities will be ready to supply heat. Landscaping will be completed in September-October.
