This event was held for the first time in the capital of the Volga region, taking place at the site of the Corporate University of the Nizhny Novgorod region government. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Nizhny Novgorod government, the regional ministry of industry, and the Russian Association of Retail Market Experts in accordance with the goals and objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." The program of the forum included participation from Nikita Kuznetsov, Director of the Department of Internal Trade Development of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Elena Omelyanenko, Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Andrey Karpov, Chairman of the Board of the Russian Association of Retail Market Experts, and Maxim Protasov, Head of Roskachestvo. "Trade today is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the economy. Businesses are actively implementing artificial intelligence technologies, data analysis tools, automated management systems, and new digital sales channels. The forum allowed representatives of government, business, and the expert community to come together to discuss key industry trends and develop practical solutions. For the Nizhny Novgorod region, such events are particularly significant as they contribute to the development of entrepreneurship, strengthen cooperative ties, and expand opportunities for regional producers," noted Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Within the business program, more than 60 federal and industry experts, as well as representatives of retail trade, marketplace sellers, catering enterprises, product manufacturers, logistics companies, and representatives of the commercial real estate sector discussed key trends in consumer market development. Participants considered issues of state regulation of trade, promotion of regional brands, changes in consumer demand, development of various sales formats, ensuring food security, interaction with marketplaces, implementation of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, as well as improvement of trade and warehouse infrastructure.
