      On August 29, 2026, at 08:02, Incidents: In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a local resident had his BMW 520d car seized due to a large debt in traffic fines. This was reported by the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to the bailiffs, the man accumulated about 400,000 rubles in unpaid fines. As a result, enforcement proceedings were initiated against him in the Dalnekonstantinovsky district, and his car was declared wanted. It turned out that the owner had transferred the car to a relative. During one of the trips in the Dzerzhinsk district, the foreign car was stopped by traffic police for document checks. During the interaction between the agencies, it became known that the car was wanted by the bailiffs. Employees of the Dzerzhinsk district department went to the traffic police post and seized the foreign car, after which the vehicle was confiscated. The owner now has 10 days to fully pay off the debt. If he does not do this, the car will be sent for sale, and the proceeds will be used to pay off the fines.
