A young driver of a VAZ-2114 was involved in a serious traffic accident and was left without a car after losing control on a wet road. This was reported by the Nizhny Novgorod State Traffic Inspectorate. The accident occurred on the night of August 15 at around 01:50 on the 7th kilometer of the Kulebaki - Valtovo - Salavir - Petrov Most road in the Navashinsky urban district. According to preliminary data, the 19-year-old driver did not choose a safe speed and did not take into account the weather conditions. While making a left turn, the car flew off the road and crashed into a tree. The impact caused the car to catch fire and it was completely burned—according to the video from the State Traffic Inspectorate, it is beyond recovery. The driver sustained a fracture of the right leg and made his way to the central district hospital in Kulebaki using passing transport.
