The reason is unfavorable weather conditions. The organizers clarified that the precipitation is leaving, but the weather conditions still do not allow the balloons to fly over the city.

      "Do not expect us over the city today; the direction and speeds do not allow us to make a flight over Nizhny Novgorod," the message on the Telegram channel "Sharnn" states.

      At the same time, the organizers hope that by the evening of August 16, the residents of Nizhny Novgorod will be able to see the balloons in the sky over the city. Earlier, the dates for the "Volga Fiesta" had already been postponed due to unfavorable weather. Initially, the festival was supposed to start on August 13, but then its start was moved to the evening of August 15.
