The Nizhny Novgorod city administration approved the design of a new cultural center in Berezovaya Polyana.

      The Ministry of Urban Development and Agglomeration of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has approved the architectural and urban planning appearance of the new building for the branch of the Municipal Budgetary Institution of Culture "Muzeyno-Vystavochny Tsentr 'Mikula' - Tsentr Kul'tury i Dosuga 'Iskra'." The corresponding order dated August 14, 2026, has been published on the official website of the department.

      The new cultural facility will be built in the village of Berezovaya Poima at the address: Luchistaya Street, house 10. According to the approved documentation, the building will be one-story, with a total area of 512.6 square meters. The facility will be located on a land plot of almost 2,800 square meters.

      Architectural solutions provide for the creation of a modern yet visually comfortable appearance. The facades will be finished using a facade plaster system and painted in warm beige shades. For contrast and expressiveness, white decorative elements are planned, including window frames and cornices, while the corners of the building are to be accentuated with rusticated stone. The plinth and the flat entrance staircases will be faced with beige frost-resistant and anti-slip porcelain stoneware, and the roof will be made of neutral signal gray metal tiles.

      The functional purpose of the facility is defined as cultural development. Previously, the project documentation for the center successfully received a positive conclusion from the state expert review. Inside the building, a hall with a stage and rooms for artists, music and art classrooms, club rooms, administrative offices, as well as sanitary and technical blocks are planned.

      Construction is expected to be completed in 2027.
