Nizhny Novgorod residents were shown what the new cultural center in Berezovaya Polyana will be like.

      On August 16, 2026, at 09:00 Culture and Leisure In Nizhny Novgorod, the architectural and urban planning appearance of the new building of the branch of the Municipal Budgetary Institution of Culture "Mikula Museum and Exhibition Center" - Culture and Leisure Center "Iskra" has been approved. This was reported on the website of the regional Ministry of Construction. The center will be built in the village of Berezovaya Poima on Luchistaya Street, 10. The customer is the municipal state institution "Main Department for Capital Construction of Nizhny Novgorod." The functional purpose of the facility is cultural development. The area of the land plot is 2,778 square meters, and the building area is 666.8 square meters. The total area of the one-story building will be 512.6 square meters. Recall that in July, the project documentation for the new "Iskra" center building received a positive conclusion from the state examination. According to the project, the building will include an entrance group with a cloakroom, an auditorium with a stage and rooms for artists, music and art classrooms, an audience, administrative offices, and a security post. The center will also house sanitary and technical facilities, including a heating point, a pump room, and an electrical switchboard. The building will be adapted for visitors with limited mobility.
