The special flight of the Ministry of Emergency Situations delivered four children to Nizhny Novgorod after a fire in Tuva.

      On August 15, 2026, at 14:43, Incidents: Four children who were injured in a fire in Kyzyl in the Republic of Tuva were transported to Nizhny Novgorod by a special flight of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. All of them are in serious condition and require medical assistance, the agency's press service reported. The fire occurred on August 14 in a residential building. A balcony on the second floor caught fire, after which the flames spread to the apartment. During the incident, firefighters managed to rescue four children and one adult. According to preliminary reports, the cause of the fire was children's mischief with fire. A special flight of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, equipped with modern medical equipment, including special medical modules, ventilators, and cardiac monitors, was used for the transportation of the patients. During the flight, the children were accompanied by specialists from the Russian Ministry of Health. Upon arrival in Nizhny Novgorod, they will be taken to the Privolzhsky Research Medical University (PIMU).
