Young scouts from Dzerzhinsk are the winners of the festival "Silk Road. Russia in the Heart."
From August 1 to 7, the All-Russian Festival of Tourism and Local History "Silk Road. Russia in the Heart" took place at the territory of the Bulgarian State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve in the Republic of Tatarstan. The large-scale event brought together nearly 1500 participants from 26 regions of Russia and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Dzerzhinsk was represented by 36 young scouts from the "Nizhny Novgorod" team of the Palace of Children's Creativity and six teacher-leaders. The children participated in a rich program: a fairy-tale museum practice, a rope-climbing route, a historical and cultural module, a crafts village, water practice, a folk games festival, and competitions in football, volleyball, and lapta. The results of the performance: — 1st place in the "Games of the Native Country" (senior and junior groups); — 2nd place in the volleyball tournament; — 3rd place in football and on the "Hero's Trail." All six senior participants successfully completed the advanced program. The head of the delegation, Anya Makarova, won among women leaders in the 2.5 km race.
The main outcome of the trip, the participants say, is bright impressions, new acquaintances, and a boost of energy.
