More than 95 thousand people work at these enterprises. This data was provided by the head of Nizhny Novgorod Statistics, Dmitry Maslo, in an interview with NIA "Nizhny Novgorod." The scale of the city's industrial development is particularly noticeable when compared to historical indicators. In 1838, there were 50 factories and plants in Nizhny Novgorod, employing 2,610 people.
