The work was carried out under the national project "Infrastructure for Life." As reported by the Main Directorate of Automobile Roads of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, 14.663 km of the road have been brought to regulatory condition. The cost of the contract amounted to over 380 million rubles. The work was completed ahead of schedule. The contractor carried out the entire range of planned activities - from clearing the right-of-way to laying new road pavement. A leveling layer and a top layer of asphalt concrete 5 cm thick were laid on the route. The shoulders were reinforced with gravel, after which they were leveled. New horizontal markings were also applied along the entire section. After the completion of the work, specialists from the GUAD conducted a final inspection. They assessed the quality of the pavement, the thickness of the asphalt concrete layers, and the degree of compaction of the gravel on the shoulders. All checked indicators meet regulatory requirements. The updated road connected several settlements. Thanks to the repairs, travel has become more comfortable and safer, and travel time has been reduced by a third. Work on the development of the road network in the district will continue. Documentation is currently being prepared to select a contractor who will undertake the reconstruction of the bridge over the Lynda River. This will allow for the continued comprehensive renewal of transport infrastructure in this direction. The GUAD reminded that during the implementation of the national project, more than 200 km of roads have been repaired in the Voskresensky district. In 2026, 33 km were brought to regulatory condition. The updated road network has increased the safety of travel for more than 16 thousand residents of the district. The national project "Infrastructure for Life" was initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. It aims to provide citizens with modern infrastructure and includes 12 federal projects, including in the areas of road construction, housing and communal services, road safety, and public transport.
