The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod region revealed details of the accident. According to preliminary data, the wires from the traffic light were hanging too low. The driver did not notice them and hit them, after which the truck continued moving by inertia, and the traffic light fell onto the road. The State Traffic Inspectorate clarified that there were no injuries as a result of the incident. Currently, traffic on the section has been restored. A traffic police crew is working at the scene.
