Before her disappearance, the girl withdrew all her savings and wrote to her relatives not to search for her, reports Mash. Anya was studying in her second year to become a surveyor in the capital of the Volga region. According to her relatives, she was careful with money: she saved her parents' pocket money in a savings account. She also lent her savings to her brother—once she loaned him 350,000 rubles. In mid-May, the girl asked to return the debt, took all the money, and soon disappeared. A few days later, her mother received a message from her daughter. The girl wrote that she was fine, that no one had kidnapped her, and that she was "chasing her dream," so there was no need to look for her. Nevertheless, the parents contacted the police. According to Mash, they were refused to initiate a case, but the family managed to find out some details of what happened. Thus, on May 19, Anya flew to China, and on May 21, to Thailand. The family suspects that the girl may have become a victim of kidnapping. Relatives note that she was a good student, did not conflict with anyone, and was very close to her brother, and in their opinion, she would definitely have let them know about herself. By the way, last weekend, a 19-year-old Russian woman with signs of abuse was found at the border with Myanmar. However, it turned out to be another girl.
