The competition featured teams from regions of Russia and CIS countries, with over 150 athletes participating. This was reported by the city department of physical culture and sports.

      The results shown by the Nizhny Novgorod athletes are as follows:

      First place in the men's individual competition among 90 figures in the "classic gorodki" discipline was taken by Alexey Vechkanov. His result was 121 hits.

      The second position in the individual competition among girls under 14 years old on 60 figures in the "classic gorodki" discipline went to Viktoria Frolova (114 hits).

      Bronze medals were earned by four students of the "Chayka" sports school. Third place in the women's individual competition among 90 figures in the "classic gorodki" discipline was won by Ekaterina Varnashina. The result of the Nizhny Novgorod athlete was 117 hits. Third place in the men's individual competition in the "European gorodki" discipline was taken by Alexey Vechkanov with a result of 123, 125. The bronze medalist in the individual competition among girls under 14 years old on 60 figures in the "classic gorodki" discipline was Alisa Udalova (124 hits). The "bronze" in the individual competition among boys under 14 years old on 60 figures in the "classic gorodki" discipline was also won by Dmitry Silaev. His result was 94 hits.

      Additionally, specialists reported that in the team competition among boys under 14 years old in the "classic gorodki" discipline, the Nizhny Novgorod region team placed third. It consisted of three students from the "Chayka" sports school: Dmitry Silaev, Alexey Guskov, and Timur Berdinov.

      "We congratulate the athletes and their coaches Alexey Vechkanov and Daria Osipova on their successful performance at the competitions! The next start for the guys is the Russian Championship among boys and girls under 18, which will take place from August 17 to 26 in the city of Podolsk, Moscow region.
