      The regional stage of the All-Russian game "Family Zarnitsa" has concluded at the site of the Nizhny Novgorod Guards Higher Military Engineering School in Nizhny Novgorod. The game is held as part of the national project "Youth and Children," initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. This year, families consisting of two adults and two children over the age of 11 participated in the game. The regional stage was preceded by municipal stages, in which about 2,500 people took part. At the regional stage, participants underwent sports and intellectual challenges, demonstrated skills in navigation and effective teamwork. Each task was aimed at developing mutual understanding, the ability to distribute roles, and making decisions collectively. "We often talk about the upbringing of youth at the level of the state and society, but this process always begins not within the walls of schools, but at home. It is in the family that the values are laid that a child will carry throughout their life. 'Family Zarnitsa' is not just a competition; it is a reminder that true patriotism and character are born in the daily example of parents, in the atmosphere of love and respect that we create within the family," said the Minister of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Svetlana Anufrieva. The victory was claimed by the Volodin family from Dzerzhinsk. This year, the winning team is accompanied by a mentor—a veteran of the special military operation from the same district. Thanks to this, preparation for the final will be more coordinated and confident: the mentor will be able to be with the family at all stages of preparation and participation in the competitions, sharing their experience, supporting the team, and helping to successfully cope with the upcoming challenges. Additionally, within the framework of the regional stage of Zarnitsa, events were held in support of the fighters of the special military operation. The participants attended thematic master classes on making products for military personnel and an initiative to write letters with words of support. "Family Zarnitsa" unites generations around common values: love for the Motherland, respect for history, mutual support, and responsibility. The regional stage is organized by the Movement of the First, the "YUNARMIA" Movement, the State Fund "Defenders of the Fatherland," the youth center "Height," with the support of the Ministry of Youth Policy and the Ministry of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod region as part of the national project "Youth and Children."
