Nizhny Novgorod residents will receive financial assistance after the drone attack on August 6.

      On August 11, 2026, 13:35 Society Residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region, affected by the drone attack on August 6, will receive financial assistance. This was reported by the NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" from the regional Ministry of Social Development. The regional government is currently conducting a comprehensive assessment of the consequences of the incident in collaboration with municipal authorities. After its completion, specialists will determine the extent of the damage caused and calculate the amounts of financial assistance for the victims. The drone attack occurred in the region on the night of August 6. Air defense forces repelled the raid, and one of the drones crashed into a tree due to radio jamming. After that, its warhead detonated. Fragments caused a fire in an apartment of a nearby residential building in the village of Savaslka in the Kulebaksky urban district. As a result of the incident, three adults and a child were injured. The protection of their rights is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
