The authorities granted permission for the construction of a Wildberries warehouse in Novinki.

      On August 11, 2026, at 13:09, the Ministry of Construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Region issued LLC "RVB" a permit for the construction of a warehouse complex in Novinki. This is according to the registry posted on the official website of the ministry.

      As NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" reported earlier, the area of the Wildberries complex will be 150 thousand square meters. Its emergence will create up to seven thousand jobs. The warehouse project has already passed examination.

      Meanwhile, residents of Novinki are opposing the construction. They fear a deterioration in the environmental situation and the safety of children. They recorded a video appeal to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, urging him to intervene in the situation. After this, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to present him with a report on the results of the inspection, and a criminal case was initiated.

      After the mass attacks on WB warehouses in other regions of Russia, we inquired with the company's press service whether plans for the construction of the facility in the Nizhny Novgorod Region are still in place.
