      Nizhny Novgorod residents are invited to participate in the grant competition for projects "Rosmolodezh.Grants". The competition is part of the national project "Youth and Children". Applications can be submitted until September 15 on the platform of the Federal State Automated Information System "Youth of Russia". The start of the second season of the international competition was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko and head of Rosmolodezh Grigory Gurov. "President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin notes that our task is to help young people find something they can do with pleasure. Thanks to the Rosmolodezh grant competition of the national project "Youth and Children", active young men and women can receive grants of up to 1 million rubles for their projects and create platforms for the self-realization of other young people. With grant support, schools for young scientists, educational projects, including for families, and inclusive creative workshops are already appearing in the regions. The most successful regional initiatives are being scaled up across Russia and reaching an international level," noted Dmitry Chernyshenko. Participants in the competition can be citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia aged from 14 to 35 inclusive. Each author can present a social project in one of 18 thematic nominations: from organizing youth employment and volunteering to preserving historical memory and developing science. As a result of the first season of the competition, support was provided to 710 socially significant projects totaling about 500 million rubles. "The Rosmolodezh grant competition is state support that allows young people to turn ideas into socially useful projects in various fields. We see that with each season, the initiatives of participants become more ambitious, and the geography of the competition expands – today, young authors from different regions of Russia and the Republic of Abkhazia present their projects. For example, the winners of the first season of the grant competition are adapting tourist routes for people with health issues, creating platforms for legal consultations for youth, and establishing rehabilitation centers for participants in the special military operation," said Grigory Gurov, head of Rosmolodezh. Among the winners of the first season of "Rosmolodezh.Grants" in 2026 is Ruslan Gergedava, who became the first winner from the Republic of Abkhazia in the history of the competition. She received 997,000 rubles for the project "ABKHAZIA – POINT OF RETURN", aimed at supporting participants of the special military operation, their family members, and veterans of the Patriotic War of the Abkhaz people. The project plans to develop support centers, launch mentoring programs, and help participants return to peaceful life through employment, sports, culture, and inclusive tourism. Alexandra Sytyuk from the Donetsk People's Republic received 294,000 rubles for the historical and educational project "The City That Remembers". The team will create a series of eight documentary videos about key events in the city's history. The short films will be shown to schoolchildren aged 14 to 17, followed by discussions. Alyona Gorbatova from the Krasnodar Territory is preparing to launch an inclusive tourism laboratory "Sochi for Everyone". Together with students from Sochi universities and colleges, the team will develop and test adapted routes for people with disabilities and conduct training for staff at tourist facilities. Valeria Prokopychuk from the Donetsk People's Republic will soon begin implementing the project "Youth Code". She will help young people navigate document processing, social benefits, employment, and other legal issues. The team will also continue to explain new laws in simple terms and clarify how to act in difficult life situations. Official feedback from Rosmolodezh can now be obtained through the "Gosuslugi" platform. This is a verified channel through which participants can clarify the status of their project, application, or reporting documentation, as well as receive expert comments on unsuccessful applications.
