      During the summer holidays, the employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Urensky" together with the children from the youth squad "Road Patrol" held an informational and propaganda campaign "We ride safely with SIM!". The goal was to remind children and their parents about the necessity of following the traffic rules when using means of individual mobility: electric scooters, hoverboards, monowheels, and other devices. After all, even a minor violation can lead to serious trouble. The youth squad prepared bright reminders and visual examples, while the inspectors of the State Traffic Inspectorate discussed typical dangerous situations with the participants. They explained to passersby how to properly cross the roadway (always dismounting), where it is allowed to ride, and why it is important to use protective gear and reflective elements at night. Special attention was paid to age restrictions for SIM users:

      - Children under 7 years old are allowed to move only on sidewalks, pedestrian and bicycle-pedestrian paths (on the side for pedestrian movement) and only when accompanied by adults.

      - Children aged 7 to 14 are allowed to move on sidewalks, pedestrian, bicycle, and bicycle-pedestrian paths. They are strictly prohibited from entering the roadway.

      - SIM users over 14 years old should remember that they are full participants in road traffic and must strictly follow traffic rules, choosing to use bicycle infrastructure or the edge of the roadway (while adhering to established rules and conditions).
