Another section of Minin Square will be closed to traffic starting August 11.

      On August 10, 2026, 18:47 Society Traffic movement will be restricted in the center of Nizhny Novgorod starting from August 11, the city administration warned. Access will be closed on Minin Square from Varvarskaya Street to Georgievsky Descent. The restrictions will be in effect from 00:01 on August 11 to 23:59 on August 17. At the same time, from 15:00 on August 4 to 23:59 on August 23, traffic is closed on Minin Square on the section from Minin Street to the Upper Volga Embankment. Drivers are advised to detour around the closed sections via adjacent streets. Parking vehicles in the specified sections is also prohibited. Otherwise, vehicles will be forcibly moved.
