Nizhny Novgorod police became interested in children with a grave cross.

      On August 7, 2026, at 16:49, Incidents: The police are investigating a case involving minors in the Semenovsky district who allegedly took a cross from a cemetery. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region. Earlier, a video from surveillance cameras circulated on social media. The footage shows children walking the streets with an object resembling a grave cross. According to eyewitnesses, the minors may have taken it from the cemetery. Allegedly, they also damaged the walls of an abandoned building with this cross. Law enforcement is currently conducting an investigation, although no official statements or appeals regarding this matter have been received by the OMVD of Russia "Semenovsky."
