The Volga-Oka Department of Rostekhnadzor has refuted the information that the cable car from Nizhny Novgorod to Bor will only resume operations in 2027. This was reported by the IA "In the City N," citing the agency.
As explained by Rostekhnadzor, previously published information was misinterpreted. The deadline until May 2027 is the maximum period set for eliminating violations identified during the inspection. The agency noted that after the early fulfillment of the order, LLC "UrbanTech Service" may apply for an unscheduled inspection. If the violations are eliminated, the cable car could open earlier than the established deadline. Thus, the timelines for resuming the operation of the crossing depend on the actual elimination of violations and the results of the inspection, rather than the date of May 2027.
