A 15-year-old teenager drowned in Kulebaki.

      On August 5, 2026, at 15:56, Incidents: A 15-year-old teenager drowned in Kulebaki, reported the regional emergency management office. The incident occurred at an unnamed pond on Krasnodontsev Street. The teenager's body was retrieved from the water by the police. According to the Investigative Committee, the teenager was near the water in an area not designated for swimming, along with peers without adult supervision. During the examination, investigators did not find any signs of criminal bodily harm. A forensic medical examination has been appointed to determine the exact cause of death. An investigative check is underway, after which a procedural decision will be made. It was previously reported that a 15-year-old teenager drowned in the Vetluga River.
