Five projects from the Nizhny Novgorod region reached the finals of the eco-festival "Territory of Tomorrow."

      August 4, 2026 21:12 Society The organizing committee of the X International Environmental Telefestival "Territory of Tomorrow" (12+) has completed the acceptance of competition entries and summarized the results of the first stage of the anniversary season. This year, about 300 films from 49 regions of Russia and 15 countries around the world were submitted to the competition. As noted by the organizers, the geography of the participants indicates a high interest in environmental themes and issues of nature conservation. As a result of the selection, 27 works made it to the shortlist, which will continue to compete for awards in eight nominations. According to the jury's assessment, the finalists demonstrated a high professional level and a desire to draw attention to environmental problems. Among the finalists are representatives from the Nizhny Novgorod region. The region will present five projects: the animated film "Red Book of Nizhny Novgorod Region," the film "ArtLuga: Place of Power 2025," the reports "Not as Intended" and "Water Front," as well as the animated video "Wise Oak." The festival finals will take place from September 3 to 5 with the support of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the House of National Unity, the Public Chamber of the region, as well as the companies "Sibur" and "Rostelecom."
