      July 18, 2026 10:31 Politics The head of the Prioksky district of Nizhny Novgorod, Mikhail Shatilov, is leaving his position. This was announced on July 18 by Mayor Yuri Shalabaev. According to him, the acting head of the district will be Vadim Kharchenko. Mikhail Shatilov was a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region from 2012 to 2017. After resigning, Shatilov became the first deputy head of the Prioksky district, and in 2018 he headed the district administration. "He is currently one of the candidates for deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region," Shalabaev wrote on his "Max" page.
